They provided an overview of last month’s Bull Fire to those in attendance. The program included maps and handout material. Their presentation was very informative and they answered many questions.

Minden's Witt named to tax commission

Gov. Jim Gibbons has named Minden businessman Craig Witt to the Nevada Tax Commission. He has been involved in agricultural businesses in northern Nevada since 1973 and is a member of the Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce, Nevada Farm Bureau and Northern Nevada Landscapers Association.
